Quality Assurance and Environmental Management
Quality in design is primarily a function of the talent, experience and professionalism of the engineering team within the practice.
The practice however, recognises the importance of quality control in design. It further recognises that this must be a practical and workable system which will not encumber the design process. Its first priority has been recruiting personnel of the appropriate calibre to meet the quality aims.
A formal QA system has been developed for the practice with the assistance of a specialst consultant. This system is in operation on all projects and has BSEN ISO 9001:2008 approval and registration.
QA procedures include engineering design reviews at key stages of each project.
RPA have been certified to ISO 14001 for Environmental Management Systems since September 2005.
